I am Mog Anarchy, and I like to play games. Whether they are old, new, retro, modern, online, offline, console, computer, critically acclaimed or notoriously bad. Here on my blog, I rant about, review, trash talk, praise and generally talk about all of my favourite and least-favourite games. I also write my own guides on how to accomplish tricky tasks, show off my creative endeavors and challenge myself with crazy in-game tasks. I also have a bunch of gaming merchandise which I am glad to show off. So drop me a comment, I love hearing your questions, criticisms, comments and general gaming discussions. :)

Glitchfest: Fallout 3's Mismatched Bodies & Heads

As any Bethesda fan will tell you; their games, while being awesome, are FULL of glitches - especially Fallout 3/New Vegas and Skyrim. This glitch is one that I've encountered in both Fallout 3 AND Fallout: New Vegas - obviously, because they use the same engine and share code for items, weapons, characters, enemies etc.

Quite often, after looting a body and removing all of their armour or clothing, I've been met with this strange graphical error:
As you can see, this Regulator has a Caucasian head and an African-American body. I've seen this happen more times than I can count, mismatching bodies and heads - Asian and Caucasian, African-American and Hispanic - of course, it's most noticeable here with the Caucasian/African American combination here.

I also found, it happens most often with Regulators and Raiders - oddly enough. Look out for it next time you loot a corpse in Fallout 3!
