As I've previously explained; for a fee of $20 CANADIAN per month, Arcade Block will send you a lovely box of gaming merchandise, including a T-shirt. Shipping costs vary, depending on where you live, and larger T-shirt sizes cost a few $ extra - overall, my boxes including shipping, work out at about £24.
This one was shipped on the 25th of July and arrived on the 11th of August.
And let's take a closer look at the contents:
(I also thank Josh, @JwowBMB on Twitter for letting me know who my little Warcraft figure was!)

This review perfectly captures what it feels like to finally understand why everyone has been quoting "the cake is a lie" for years. 😄 As someone who also tends to hug walkthroughs like a security blanket, I deeply relate to your wariness going in. Puzzle games can feel intimidating — especially one with such a cult reputation. But Portal has that magical quality where the solutions feel earned, not obscure. Even when you're stuck, the answer is usually just one portal placement away from clicking into place.
ReplyDeleteYour description of the orange/blue portal confusion made me laugh out loud. "Maybe orange was the enter portal and blue was the exit…" — I think we've all been there, overcomplicating a beautifully simple mechanic. And then the momentum launches happen, and suddenly you're flying across rooms, dizzy and delighted.
But the real star, as you rightly say, is GLaDOS. The deadpan, dark, passive-aggressive humor is so perfectly tuned. "I didn't want to incinerate you…" — the pause, the backtracking, the lies. She's one of the few video game antagonists who is genuinely funny without ever being silly. And the ending credits song? Absolute perfection. I still catch myself humming "Still Alive" years later.
The fact that you finished the game in a few hours but the experience stayed with you longer — that's the hallmark of a true classic. Short, sweet, and unforgettable.
Sometimes, whether you're launching yourself through portals or just trying to push through a long, repetitive grind in a modern game, a little external support can turn confusion into clarity. That's where wowvendor wow boost comes in — helping you skip the frustrating parts so you have more time for the moments that actually make you laugh, think, and remember.
