I am Mog Anarchy, and I like to play games. Whether they are old, new, retro, modern, online, offline, console, computer, critically acclaimed or notoriously bad. Here on my blog, I rant about, review, trash talk, praise and generally talk about all of my favourite and least-favourite games. I also write my own guides on how to accomplish tricky tasks, show off my creative endeavors and challenge myself with crazy in-game tasks. I also have a bunch of gaming merchandise which I am glad to show off. So drop me a comment, I love hearing your questions, criticisms, comments and general gaming discussions. :)

About

I'm Mog Anarchy, or Dixie, if you prefer. I'm a lazy-good-for-nothing who likes nothing better than drinking Pepsi, eating cheeseburgers and playing VIDEO GAMES.

Ever since I was about 4, I've loved games. I used to watch my big brother (12 years my senior) play his old consoles - and I once completed Final Fantasy VII at the age of 5.

I'm often told that my gaming is obsessive - I suppose their claims are justified, as I own a collection of over 2000 games and 16 consoles, along with a wardrobe of gaming T-shirts and an array of awesome merchandise. This blog is the manifestation of my love for all-things gaming in lovely blog posts - everything from reviews, products, videos, rants or even me just posting random crap about games that I think others will enjoy. Helping me along the way with ideas and assisting with my more complex videos are Shelly and Ash.

In addition to my love for games, I also have a passion for heavy metal music, amusing novelty products, 1990s nostalgia and military rations. I live with my fianceé and our four cats; Jet, Amber, Pearl and Onyx.

Being a child of the 1990s, I also have a somewhat strange obsession with gunge - the classic gameshow and kids show staple that was often dumped over losers of games or unsuspecting adults for revenge.

I originally started this blog as a creative outlet and as a mechanism to deal with my depression and anxiety symptoms. Back in 2013, I didn't think anybody would be interested, so I wrote for myself. To this day, I still write for myself - I also make videos and act like a fool on Twitter - but now I have a bunch of weirdos who enjoy what I do. You're all awesome and you give me more encouragement to keep up with what I do.

Here's to more gaming, more nonsense, more gunge, more cool stuff and most importantly, more anarchy.

  1. Hello!

This might be a bit random, but please bear with me. I stumbled across your blog last night as I mooched around internet gaming blogs and such whilst tipsy.
I came to this morning to find this page still open on my browser, so I gave it a read in a more sober frame of mind. I found the blog very reading, entertaining and in a lot of cases, funny.(Especially the Candy Crush review, I have a friend who is obsessed with it. :P)

Suffice to say, I've bookmarked it and will be checking back. I know updates aren't that frequent, but still. I feel this is a blog that I can take a lot of pleasure reading, so do continue :).

    Scott.
P.S. Love those shirts. Must have.

Any suggestions on posts, I'll write about anything. I'm working on some about LOZ: Majora's Mask currently, as it's what I'm playing right now (again) :D
